Broken Bow, NE – Ilene Hulinsky, age 77 of Broken Bow, died Friday April 18, 2014 at the Jennie Melham Medical Center in Broken Bow. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday April 23, 2014 at 11:00 AM in Govier Bros. Mortuary in Broken Bow with Pastor Alan Petersen officiating. Ilene L. Hulinsky was born on November 19, 1936, at Burwell, Nebraska to Clarence and Daisy (Palmer) Gumb. She was married to Frank Hulinsky on November 23, 1954 at Burwell, NE. The couple lived at Fort Hartsuff, near Burwell. They later moved to Gothenburg, NE. In the mid 1960's, they moved to Broken Bow. Ilene worked as a cook at the Golden Living Center, and also the local café. Ilene enjoyed working in her garden and garage sales. Survivors include her husband Frank of Broken Bow, a daughter Debra Jensen of Kearney, brothers; Bill (Darlene) Gumb of Sargent, and Ray (Marge) Gumb of Burwell, sisters; Norma Dunkel of Valentine and Wilda Studebaker of Burwell, and a sister in law Yvonne Gumb of Cheyenne Wells, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Timothy, son in law Glen Jensen, a brother Dale, and sisters; Lillie, Doris, and Marjory.
