Wanda Kay Walton SWEETWATER -- Wanda Kay Walton, 58, died Thursday, May 2, 2002 at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday in the McCoy Chapel of Memories with Reverend James Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Sweetwater Cemetery. Born May 4, 1943, in Breckenridge, she was a homemaker and had lived in Breckenridge since 1958. She was a member of Lamar Street Baptist Church. She married John Walton September 19, 1961, in Grapevine. She is survived by her husband, John E. Walton of the home; a son, Jody Dwayne Walton and wife Donna of Sweetwater; two daughters, Gail Presley and husband, Dewayne of Hamlin and Meleah Walton and husband Tony Fisher of Sweetwater; two sisters, Carole Spradlin of Sweetwater and Linda Prejean of Port Arthur, TX; a brother, Royce Jones and wife, Johnie Carol of Woodson; and eight grandchildren. Pallbearers will be John Bewley, Richard Spradlin, Chris Soles, Casey Carson, Brad Davis and Pete Jones. Honorary pallbearers are Ricky Walton, Dewayne Presley and Tony Fisher.
