Bio

Louise E. Wood, 94, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2014. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Wednesday in Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Greenwood. Louise was born Jan. 30, 1920, in Daffau. She loved music, dancing and traveling. She was preceded in death by husband, Omer T. Wood; parents; brothers, AJ, Jerry and Darrell Griffith; granddaughters, Linda Burke and Patricia Lee Wood; and great-granddaughter, Lisa Baldwin. Survivors: Daughter, Alice F. Hill; sons, Riley Levi Wood, Williams Woodrow Wood; foster son, Roger Wharton; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; three sisters; one brother; and numerous nieces and nephews.
