Bio
Edna Mae Wilkins, the daughter of Amel and Dorothy (Samuelson) Zwiebel, was born in Waterloo, Nebraska on January 1, 1927 and died in Aurora, Nebraska on April 1, 2000, at the age of 73 years and 4 months. Edna grew up in Waterloo. She graduated from Waterloo High School. She was united in marriage to Edward Wilkins on November 26, 1957 in Papillion, Nebraska. She took care of the house and children when they lived in Waterloo, Nenzel and Elm Creek. When they moved to Aurora, Edna worked for a time as a nurse's aid and bookkeeper at E. W. Auto Supply. Edna was a member of United Methodist Church and Women's Group. Her parents and two sisters, Lorene and Margaret, preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband Edward of Aurora; daughter, Kate Cox of Aurora; son, Scott Wilkins of Papillion; one sister, Amy Polland of Marion, Iowa; niece, Donna Rasmussen of Elkhorn; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
