Clarke Witten, who died in a local hospital Friday evening, will be held at 2:30 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Baptist temple, with Rev. Clarence W. Kemper, pastor, officiating. Burial will be made in the Spring Hill cemetery. Dr. Witten was 35 years of age and had been practicing dentistry here since 1917, except for two short periods at Logan and Huntington. He was a graduate of the University of Maryland school of dentistry and was a member of Pal Omega fraternity. He was a Mason and a member of the Huntington lodge of the Knights of Pythias. He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Anna D. Witten; a daughter, Ruth; a son, Jack; his father, L. A. Witten, of Witten's Landing, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. T. A. Currey, of Thomas, and Mrs. W. E. Neal, wife of the mayor of Huntington, and a brother, Bernard Q. Witten, of Bellaire, Ohio. Mr. Witten's office was at 703 1-2 Virginia street.
