Harriet Jane Wilson was born October 18, 1876 in Blue Mound, Macon County, Illinois to John Lawrence Wilson and Margaret Ann Cartwright and died May 16, 1966 in Adams County, Iowa. She married Ralph Lee Preston on January 10, 1900 in Creston, Iowa. To this union seven children were born, six of whom survive him. Mrs. Elmmer Olive (Alice) of Corning, Lowell and Mrs. Joye Heatherington (Esther) of Prescott, Wayne of Kansas City, Missouri, Mrs. H. K. Lindhammer (Ruth) of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and Allyn of Silver Springs, Mary Land. Sheis survived by three sons; three daughters, 25 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; She was preceded in death by one daughter, Anita and two grandchildren.
