She was born October 12, 1921 in Mitchell County the first child to James and Vicie Mae (Ellis) Norred. Mrs. Clark graduated from Snyder High School in 1939. She grew up in Snyder and married Clell C. Clark, August 2, 1947 in Snyder. He preceded her in death on November 11, 1995. Mickey became a homemaker after Clell graduated from UT in Austin. They lived in Abilene and Andrews before returning to Austin in 1975. She moved back to West Texas to be near her family in 2009. Mickey was a long time volunteer for Mary Lee Foundation in Austin; member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority; held offices in the local and district chapters and served as State President from 1965 to 1966. Those left to cherish her memory are two brothers, James Norred and wife Elena of Midland; Robert Norred of Snyder; four sisters, Faydean Hart of Snyder, Jo Anne Barfield and husband Frank of Sweetwater, Betty Hodgson of Lubbock, Patsy Barnett of Wilson, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Clark is preceded in death by her husband and parents. Memorial may be made to a charity of your choice. Memorial Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, August 15, 2009 at Cypert-Seale Funeral Home Chapel in Snyder, with Mark McMillan officiating.
