Herald Coaster, July 1, 2002: Funeral services for Gary Dean Miller, 46, of Needville are schedule for 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 2 at Immanuel United Church of Christ with the Rev. Fred Banda officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Serving as pall bearers will be Robert Denney, Kenny Miller, Steven Kunz, Troy Kunz, Stormy Miller and Marvin Miller Jr. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, July 1 at the Garmany & Carden Funeral Chapel, 3103 School St. in Needville. Mr. Miller died Sunday, June 30, 2002 in Fairchilds. He was born Oct. 1, 1955 in Wharton and was a lifelong resident of the Needville area. He was employed by Ondeo-Nalco Energy Services for 26 years. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Denney Miller; his daughters, Sara Miller, Rebecca Boaz and her husband, Jesse and Amy Urbanek and her husband, Bryntin; his grandchildren, Colton Boaz and B.J. and Makayla Urbanek; his sisters, Linda Kunz and her husband, Ronnie and Bridgett Bullard and her husband, Donald; his brothers, Larry Miller and his wife, Vanessa, Jesse Sachtleben and his wife, Lynda, Kurt Miller and Brent Miller; his stepbrothers, Ricky Raesner and his wife, Wendy, Daryl Raesner and his wife, Rita, Michael Raesner and his wife, Elaine and Larry Raesner and his wife, Dee; his father, Paul Miller and stepmother, Martha; his mother, Doris Derby and her husband, Lee and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
