Bio

Otto was born in Radmanso, Stockholm lan, Sweden, the son of Andrew & Margreta (Mattsdotter) Mattsson. He came to America around 1888 and the family settled in Dodge county, near Uehling, NE, by 1900. Otto married Caroline Wickstrom on 6 June 1906 in Oakland, NE. They spent a few years living in Minneapolis, MN and then moved to a farm near Oakland around 1910. In the 1920's they moved into Oakland town. Otto helped at his son, William's, tire & battery shop. In 1940, he worked as a house painter in Oakland, NE. At the time of his death, Otto had a residence in Omaha, NE. Otto & Caroline had children: Pearl (died 8 days old in Minnesota, findagrave# 126321421), William, Cecil E., Marie, Harris and Eva.
