------------------------- Clovis Ray, age 92, died Sunday March 16, 2014 at a nursing home in Pleasanton Texas following an extended illness. He was born to Elmer and Lena (Nelson) Ray on May 13, 1921 in Kingston Oklahoma. He married Lillian Dusek on June 23, 1938. He was a supervisor in the Oilfield industry and upon retiring he pursued his avid love of golfing. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 grandsons Clovis Ray and Bob Ben Ray, Jr. and his sister Billie Repka. Survivors include: His wife of 75 years Lillian (Dusek) Ray of Calliham, Texas. Son: Dr. Bob Ben (Cecilia) Ray of Three Rivers, Texas. Daughter: Joyce (C.W.) Wood of Three Rivers, Texas. Sister: Jackie Pennington of Houston, Texas. He was blessed with 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 18, 2014 from 1-3 PM at Roberson Funeral Home, Three Rivers, Texas. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at 4 PM at the Haven of Rest Mission in Three Rivers, Texas, with Brother Dave Darling officiating service. Pallbearers will be Marty Harris, Clay Atkinson, Jeff Atkinson, Stacy Little, David Pennington and Eddie Ray. Burial will be at the Calliham, Cemetery, Calliham, Texas.
