Bio
Mary F. Krajca, 88, of Ennis, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2014. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m., Sunday, March 16, 2014, with a Rosary at 6 p.m., at Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home Chapel in Ennis. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, March 17, 2014, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Ennis with Father Henry Drozd as Celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Mary was born in Bardwell, Texas, to the late Louis and Mary (Spaniel) Marusak. Mary married Johnnie H. Krajca on January 21, 1945, in Ennis. She was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters, KJZT, and Golden Crusaders. Mary was a seamstress for many local manufactures in Ennis for 45 years. She enjoyed visiting with relatives, playing chicken foot, and listening to Czech music. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie; brothers, John Marusak and Louis A. Marusak and his, wife, Margaret, Emil Marusak and his wife, Emily, and Raymond Marusak; and sisters, Ann Haskovec and her husband, Ernest, and Emily Jansky and her husband, Zefrin. Survivors include her children: Cathy Krajca, of Ennis, Kenneth Krajca and his wife, Elizabeth Moucka Krajca, of Ennis, Monica Smith, of Garland, Patrick Krajca, of Pearland, Texas, and Kim Hutchins and her husband, Darrell, of Garland; grandchildren: Captain Wesley Krajca with the U.S. Army in Coppers Cove, Texas, Lee Ann Krajca, of Ennis, James Krajca, of Ennis, Rachel Krajca Fosdick, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Laura Krajca, of Huntsville, Texas, and Emily Kate Hutchins, of Garland, Texas; great-grandson, John Thomas Krajca, of Ennis; brothers, Jerry E. Marusak and his wife, Janie, of Ferris, and Henry Marusak, of Kaufman; sisters, JoAnn Mikel Strunc, Dorothy Matous and her husband, Raymond, and Adell Pouzar and her husband, Charlie, all of Ennis; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
