Services for Mary Elizabeth Woodard Handorf Kennedy, 93, of Palestine, will be at 3:00 PM at Bailey & Foster Chapel with Lloyd Handorf officiating. Burial will follow in Land of Memory Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home. Mrs. Kennedy died at Dogwood Trails Assisted Living Center. She was born to Stephen and Lilly Nemec Woodard. Mrs. Kennedy was from Memorial Hospital where she worked as a LVN nurse in the childbirth center. She was a member of the Southside Baptist Church. Mrs. Kennedy was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Lloyd Handorf, Sr. and M. C. Kennedy; a son, Jim Handorf and a brother Steve Woodard. She is survived by her children, Glennell Rials and husband W. T., Lloyd Handorf and wife Priscilla, Sherry Morse and husband Ted and Dale Handorf and wife Debra; thirteen grandchildren, Mechell Rector, Melisa Rials, Mike Handorf, Josh Handorf, Scott Handorf, Arron Handorf, Gara Handorf, Melinda Newman, Mark Handorf, Stephanie Campos, Stephen Morse, Lea Childress and Donna Eaves; twenty one great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made to Gideons International, PO Box 140800, Nashville, Tenn. 37214.
