Kerrville Daily Times (TX) - Monday, May 17, 2004 KERRVILLE - "The Lord gave, the Lord has taken away, blessed be the name of the Lord." Job 1:21b. Mildred Lillian Leschber Schwausch, 83, born Feb. 10, 1921, in Walburg, Texas, to F.R. and Marie Doering Leschber, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, May 14th, 2004. She was baptized at Zion Lutheran Church in Walburg and confirmed her faith in the Lord on March 25, 1934. Mildred married W.R. (Bill) Schwausch in Walburg on Nov. 18, 1945. She had been a resident of Kerrville since 1953. During their time together, they shared the joy of having five children and owned and operated Bill's Auto Supply. She had a strong faith in the Lord and was a longtime member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. She is survived by her husband, Bill; son, Ralph and wife, Bonnie, of Texas; daughters, Karen and husband, Harrison, of Texas, Carolyn and husband, Mick, of Wash. Gwen and husband, James, and Edie and husband, Phil; 10 grandchildren and spouses, Rick and Katie, Rus, Bryan and Cristina , Nicole, Tony, Christi, Josh and Chelsea, Sara , Christopher and Hailey; 10 great-grandchildren, Avery, Elliot, Wyatt, Noah, Drew, Andrea, Andrew, Michael, Brandon and Jourdan; and sisters, Ruth, Elaine, Geraldine and Edna. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend in the Lord, her life will be celebrated and her wisdom and kindness will always be remembered in the hearts of all who knew her. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, May 17, 2004, at the Kerrville Funeral Home Chapel, 1221 Junction Hwy., Kerrville, with Pastor Dale Snyder officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Kerrville. "For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live." Romans 8:13. Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Kerrville Funeral Home.
