Bio

Helma was the daughter of Wilhelm "William" F and Bertha B (nee Sass) Gehritz. Sister of Herman, Alvina "Vena" (Schmidt, Magel), Isabella Lovella Alma (Leighland), Ida and Lucinda "Lucile" Bertha Luise (Bailey, Grevillot). Helma married George Shea Keller on 7 June 1904 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They had 4 children; Ruth Winifred (Hayes), Bernice Anne, Frederick "Fred" George Ray and Patricia Margaret Keller (Mengelkoch). MRS. HELMA H. KELLER Services for Mrs. Helma H. Keller, 77, 5652 Logan avenue S., who died Friday, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Gill Brothers mortuary, 5801 Lyndale avenue S., with burial in Lakewood cemetery. A lifelong Minneapolis resident, Mrs. Keller was a member of Lynnhurst chapter, Order of Eastern Star and Aldrich Avenue Presbyterian church. Survivors include her husband, George; a son, Fred, Minneapolis; two daughters, Mrs. Henry Mengelkoch, Minneapolis, and Mrs. E. J. Hayes, Arlington, Va.; and two sisters, Mrs. Lovella Leighland, Minneapolis, and Mrs. P. J. Grevillot, in California. (Minneapolis Star Tribune, pg 11B; 6 January 1957)
