Bio

George Shea Keller was the son of Peter D and Mary Shea (nee Russell) Keller. Brother of Frank Llewellyn, William Russell, Clara and Elizabeth "Betty" Laura Keller (Melville, Olbrick, Kiefer). George married Helma H Gehritz on 7 June 1904 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They had 4 children; Ruth Winifred (Hayes), Bernice Anne, Frederick "Fred" George Ray and Patricia Margaret Keller (Mengelkoch). GEORGE S. KELLER Services for George S. Keller, 87, 5652 Logan Av. S., who died Saturday, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Gill Brothers Mortuary, 5801 Lyndale Av. S., with burial in Lakewood Cemetery. Mr. Keller was a lifelong resident of Minneapolis. He was the former owner of the Keller Restaurant, 212 S. 4th St. Survivors include a son, Fred, Minneapolis; two daughters, Mrs. E. J. Hayes, Arlington, Va., and Mrs. Henry Mengelkoch, Minneapolis, and a sister, Mrs. Betty Kieffer, Minneapolis. The body will be at the mortuary from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
