Bio

Ambrose immigrated to the U.S. in 1906. He settled in Boyd county, NE near Spencer and began farming. Ambrose married Sophia Hambek on 3 Feb 1915 in Boyd county (marriage book 2, page 289). They farmed near Spencer for a few years and then moved to a farm in Gregory county, SD. They moved to a farm in Tripp county, SD in the 1920's and remained there. Ambrose and Sophia had children: Rudolph, Sylvia Earll, Agnes, Mary Earll, Bessie, Frank, James and Mildred.
