Obituary Dallas Morning News Nov. 24, 2005 George J. Chapman Jr. 84, passed away Nov. 22, 2005 at Veterans Hospital in Dallas. George was born February 26, 1921, in DeSoto, Texas. His parents were Kitty & George Chapman of Cedar Hill. George served his country during World War II. After returning from the war, he lived most of his life in Cedar Hill. George is survived by longtime friend, Wanda Lewis, and numerous nephews & nieces. Graveside funeral service is 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 26, 2005, at Red Oak Cemetery. Visitation with the family is 6-8 PM, Friday, at Jaynes. Jayne's Memorial Chapel 811 South Cockrell Hill Road Duncanville TX 75137.
