Bio

Unity Wilkie was the daughter of Thomas and Unity (Brezell) Wilkie. She married Samuel Dodson "Sam" Kalley on January 9, 1862 in Wayne County, Iowa and together they had 4 children: Daniel Thomas Kelley, Susan Unity "Susie" Kelley, Minta May (Kelley) Fairchild Sinclair , and Samuel Dodson Kelly Jr. Unity (Wilkie) Kalley died of a heart attack in her sleep in Morgan, Iowa on December 22, 1901. She was 59. In most records the family name is spelled Kelley or Kelly, but should be spelled Kalley.
