Suggested edit: The West Carroll Gazette Newspaper October 21, 1981 Belle Leland Spaulding, 91, passed away October 9th in Leggett Memorial Hospital, Cleveland, Texas, following a long illness. Funeral services were held Monday, October 12, at Cochran Street Baptist Church in Houston, Texas, with Rev. Martin C. Devries officiating. Interment followed in Forest Park Lawndale cemtery under the direction of Earthman Funerals. Survivors include a daughter, Chlora Francelle Corbin, of New Caney, Texas; four sons, Aulsie Lee Spaulding, of Houston, Texas, Ernest Earl Spaulding, of Oak Grove, John James Spaulding, of Dallas, Texas, Frankie Floyd Spaulding, of Modesto, Calif.; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
