Eura Lee McWhirter age 97 of Gallatin passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2012. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 23 in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home with Mike Hammond officiating. Interment will be in Rock Bridge Cemetery with friends and family serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 22 from 2-8 p.m. and Thursday, August 23 from 9 a.m. until time of service. Mrs. McWhirter was born August 1, 1915 in Sumner County, Tennessee to the late William "Bill" and Hester Graves Perry. She is also preceded in death by her late husband, Edward Kenneth McWhirter. She is survived by her son, Eddie R. (Patricia "Patty") McWhirter of Nashville, daughter Joyce (Frank) Templeton of Gallatin, Grandchildren Sherry (Danny) Wilson, Kimberly (Gary) Brown, Lisa Templeton, Ronnie McWhirter, Robert (Annita) McWhirter, Stacey (Richy) Hackett, and great-grandchildren Blake Stewart, Daniel Brown, Courtney McWhirter, Austin McWhirter, Jackie McWhirter, Miranda McWhirter, Whitley Whitley, Dylan Hackett, Tristan Hackett, Ethan Hackett, and Reagan Hackett.
