Bio

Josephine F. Pavlu, 103, of Greenbrier died Sunday (July 1, 2007) in a local nursing home. Pavlu was born July 13, 1903 in New York City. She was adopted by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Mazurek, who moved her to Texas. Pavlu is preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister and her husband, William J. Pavlu. Survivors include a son Gerard Pavlu and Hazel of Greenbrier; a daughter Joyce Maxine Heiss and Richard of Bristol, Ind.; a sister, Henrietta Stuckly of Schulenburg, Texas; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
