Bio

Jeanette Togerson Perkins 1922 - 2005 Passed away peacefully at home on October 8, 2005. Born January 31, 1922 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Christen and Valborg Togerson. She graduated in 1940 from Granite High School. Married Lowell D. Perkins on August 14, 1941. Later their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake City Temple. Jeanette's family was the center of her life. Her love for music brought countless opportunities to share this talent with others as a member of the G Trio, Relief Society Singing Sisters, and through her work with numerous church callings. Her love and compassion for others was endless. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and spent many winters in Oceanside, California. Her family wishes to express their sincere love and appreciation for Lowell and Jeanette's circle of "first grade friends". She was blessed with an amazing outlook on life and a sense of humor that will leave us with many warm hearted memories. Jeanette is survived by her husband Lowell D. Perkins, daughter Janice (Lynn) Billeter, son Doug (Kathy), son Jeff, and daughter Leslie (Richard) Mickelson. Ten grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Jeanette is also survived by her only living sibling Mary Crawford. Preceded in death by her parents, a son Gary, four sisters, three brothers and great-granddaughter, McKell Hilton. A viewing will be held Wednesday October 12, 2005 from 6:00 to 8;00 p.m. at Holladay Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 Highland Drive. Funeral services will be held Thursday October 13, 2005, 11:00 a.m. at Holladay Cottonwood Mortuary. Friends may call one hour prior to the services. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens 10600 S. 1700 E.
