Bio

Elizabeth Ann Knight was born in Casey Co. Kentucky on Feb. 25, 1847. She came from Kentucky to Missouri in 1852. Here on the 27th of Feb. 1865 she was united in marriage to J. W. Turner who survives her. To this union ten children were born, of whom the following five; Minor, Mollie, Melvina, William and Alice have preceded her in death. Those living are Thos. Turner of Holton, Henry of Holton, John of St. Joseph, Charles of Seneca, Myrtle of Sioux City. The family came to Holton in 1888. At the age of fifteen she united with the Christian church .... She passed to rest and reward on Sunday morning Jan. 25 at 8 o’clock ... leaves one brother, J. M. Knight of Troy, Kansas .... Interment was made in the Holton cemetery. The Holton Recorder, January 29, 1920.
