Elizabeth M. "Betsy" White, 78, passed from this life Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Hospice Ministries, Ridgeland. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00pm, Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services are 1:00pm, Thursday, January 16, 2014 in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. She was born February 25, 1935 in Indianola, Mississippi, a daughter of the late Robert Alvin McMurtray and Lois McKee McMurtray. Mrs. White was a retired special needs educator and a member of McLaurin Heights United Methodist Church. Survivors include sons, David White and wife Patricia and Robert White and wife Patricia; daughters, Carol White Gray and husband Morris and Ruth White Positan and husband Jim; brothers, Robert and Jim McMurtray; sister, Mary Carolyn Pugh; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
