Bio

Daniel A. "Dan" Zavodny, died Friday at Butler County Health Care Center in David City, Nebraska. Daniel was born on December 7, 1935 on the farm near Brainard, Nebraska to Louis and Sophie (Ratkovec) Zavodny. Daniel attended and graduated from Brainard (NE.) High School. Dan helped his dad on the farm for many years and after his parents passed away, he moved to Brainard, Nebraska where he lived for a short time. He was a member of Holy Trinity Church. Dan eventually moved to David City, Nebraska where he lived at the Sunshine Court and was a member of St. Mary's Church, David City, Nebraska. He was currently a resident of the Golden Living Care Center, Schuyler, Nebraska. Dan was preceded in death by: parents and one brother. Interment was in New Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery, Brainard, Nebraska.
