SPIRO — PARTAIN, Hazel Marie, 92, farmer, died Wednesday. Services 2 p.m. Friday, Mallory-Martin Chapel, Spiro, Mallory-Martin Funeral Home, Spiro. -------------------- Hazel Marie Partain of Spiro was born February 10, 1921 in Calhoun, Oklahoma to Luther and Gracie (Painter) Nixon and passed away January 8, 2014 in Spiro, Oklahoma at the age of 92. Hazel was a member of Panama Church of Christ. She was a retired farmer and caregiver. She enjoyed cooking, quilting, sewing, painting and ceramics. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two children, five sisters and four brothers. Funeral Services will be 2:00pm Friday, January 10, 2014 at Mallory~Martin Chapel of Spiro with Mr. Gary James officiating. Burial will follow in Milton Cemetery under the direction of the Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro, Oklahoma. (Mallory Martin)
