Bio

Fort Bend Herald, January 7, 2014: Evelyn Beatrice Rainosek, 91, of Fairchilds, Texas, entered peacefully into eternal life on Sunday, January 5. Direct, tenacious; however, very loving …..Best describe our mother, Evelyn (nee Bartosh) Rainosek. Evelyn was one of eight children born to Mary and Vladimir Bartosh. The family farm was located off Padon Road in Needville, Texas. Evelyn became her dad's "right hand" when it came to farming. She had a passion for agriculture even though she took an interest in baking. She and her sisters all became masterful in the art of Czech pastries. Evelyn eventually met a tall handsome man from Holstyn, Texas while attending a dance in Guy. After a short courtship, Jerome was off to Normandy beach for the D-Day invasion. During the war, their courtship remained strong through correspondence. After the war, Evelyn married her sweetheart on November 14, 1945. For a few years, the newlyweds farmed. Discouragement came after poor crop production resulted. After obtaining VA auto-mechanic training, Jerome opened Rainosek's Garage in Fairchilds. We lost our dad in July 2008 and brother, Douglas, in January 2013. Evelyn is survived by four children: Kenneth Rainosek and his wife, Dottie, of Sargent; Dr. Delbert Rainosek and his wife, Belinda, of Canyon Lake; Russell Rainosek of Fairchilds; and Gracie Pyron Hatten and her husband, David, of Lakeway. In addition, Evelyn is survived by eleven grandchildren: Nica Pyron; Bradden Pyron and wife, Frances; Scott Pyron; Jessica Rault and husband, Mark; Lisa Slavinski and husband, Kevin; Jeffrey Rainosek and wife, Ashley; Richele Rainosek; Brittany Emsurak and husband, George; Kristin Rainosek; Dane Rainosek and Haley Rainosek.
