Brainard Clipper (Brainard, Nebr.), November 30, 1911, p. 4, col. 3 Rudolf Rejda, son of Anton Rejda and wife, died Saturday morning after a few days illness from appendicitis. Funeral was held Monday under the auspices of the Knights of St. George after services at the Holy Trinity Church. '''''' People's Banner (David City, Nebr.), November 30, 1911, p. 2, col. 4 BRAINARD Rudolph, the thirteen-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Rejda passed away quite suddenly Saturday morning. He had not been well since Monday, but was not thought seriously ill until Saturday, when a physician was summoned and it was found that he had appendicitis. They started at once with him in an auto to take him to David City to have an operation performed. They only got about two miles in the country when he died. He was brought back to town and funeral services were held at the Catholic church Monday morning at 10 o’clock and interment was made in the cemetery east of town. The sorrowing relatives have the sympathy of the entire community.
