Bio
Veteran of World War II. Commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army Air Corps. Served as a B-17 pilot. Helped to re-organize the New Mexico National Guard and served as Commander of the Deming unit until he was recalled to active duty for the Korean Conflict. Retired from the New Mexico National Guard as a Major General. Preceded in death by two brothers. Extracted from obituary in El Paso Times, January, 2000.
