Bio

- John J. Shuda, 65, of Hastings died Saturday at his home. - Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at ST. Cecilic's Catholic Church in Hastings. The Rev. Ivan Vap will officiate. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery at Hastings. - Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 8 a.m.-9 p.m. at Butler-Volland Chapel in Hastings, with a rosary at 7:30. A memorial has been established. - Mr. Shuda was born May 18, 1920, at Ashton, the son of Andrew and Cecilia Graczyk Shuda. He moved to Hastings from Ashton in 1965. Mr. Shuda was a retired carpenter. - He was a member of St. Cecilia's parish. - Survivors include his wife, Mildred; a son, Danny of Hastings; two grandchildren; a brother, Eddie of Ashton; a sister, Mrs. Raymond (Victoria) Dymek of Grand Island. John passed away September 7, 1985. Records show that he is buried in Block U, Lot 33, Grave 11 (Parkview Cemetery).
