Son of Henry & Sarah (Gath) Smith. Married to Sarah Rishel. Thanks to contributor #47643415 for links and info. --------------------- From The Palmer Journal, Thursday, September 4, 1969, page 1, transcribed by Linda Berney: Services in Fullerton For Wilson Smith - Funeral services were held on August 28 in the Beaman and Palmer Funeral Home in Fullerton for Wilson Smith, 87, a former Fullerton resident, who passed away August 24 in the Litzenberg Hospital in Central City. Mr. Smith was born February 5, 1882 in Merrick County to Mr and Mrs., Henry Smith. On April 5, 1908 he married Sarah Rishel. Survivors include five sons, Cecil of Central City, John of Fremont, Fred of York, Robert of Grand Island and Floyd of Greeley; a daughter, Mrs. Lucile Adams of Central City; 15 grandchildren and 14 great--grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, three sons; three sisters and three brothers. Mr. Smith has been a resident at Coolidge Rest Home for the past year.
