In Avoyelles parish, near Plaucheville, La., at 1:30 o'clock a.m., on Friday, January 12, 1923, Mrs. Evaline Bacon, aged 43 years, wife of Oscar Bacon. The death of the deceased was the result of an attack of influenza, with which she had been prostrated for more than a week. She was born and reared in Avoyelles parish and besides her husband, is survived by her aged father, Mr. Adriole Ardoin, and seven children. The children are: Mrs. Eustice Lemoine, Misses Lennis, Evaline, Gertie and Mazie Bacon and Gilmy and Johnny Bacon. She also leaves the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. T. Bordelon, of Bunkie; Mrs. R. Guillory of Plaucheville; Mrs. F. Barron, of Alexandria; Mrs. S. Landreneau of Vidrine, La.; Mrs. O. Kimball, of Plaucheville; Luban Ardoin of Plaucheville; F.A. Ardoin, of Alexandria, A.D. Ardoin, of Port Arthur, Texas; M. Ardoin, of New Orleans. The funeral took place at Plaucheville, Patrolman F.A.
