INFORMATION OBTAINED FROM ANDERSON CLAYTON FUNERAL HOME, KEMP, TX OBITUARIES Anna Lou Burns June 22, 1924 - December 2, 2013 Seven Points, Texas Anna was born in Kaufman County on June 22, 1924 to parents Jessie (Shrum) Smith and Theodore Smith and entered into eternal rest on December 2, 2013 at the age of 89. Anna was known for always being there for her family and teaching them about the Lord. She loved to play the piano and sing. Anna was known for her painting, as well as her coconut pies and buttermilk biscuits. She loved her cornbread and milk. Anna attended Rand School. She was Baptist by faith and a member of the First Baptist of Seven Points for 30 years. Anna played the piano for her church and sang in the choir. Anna is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 43 years, Eugene Burns, son Jimmy Burns, son-in-law Donald Burns, three grandchildren and four brothers. She is survived by her daughters; Lola Burns, Vera Johnson and husband Kerry, Susie Gray and husband Rex, sister Vera Toland and husband Joe, brother Elvis Smith and wife Juanita, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
