Burns Sr, Jimmy Wayne Born: 19 Feb 1946 in Terrell, Kaufman County, Texas, USA Died: 19 Jul 2013 in Calera, Bryan County, Oklahoma, USA Jimmy Wayne Burns Sr. was born on February 19, 1946 in Terrell, Texas to Eugene and Anna Smith Burns and passed from this life on July 19, 2013 in Calera, Oklahoma at the age of 67. Jimmy moved to Bryan County in 2004 from Seven Points, Texas and was the manager of the Mirror Lake RV Park in Calera. He was an active member at the Calera Community Center and the First Baptist Church in Achille. He enjoyed playing the piano and fishing. Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Burns and brother in law, Donald Burns. Jimmy is survived by his mother, Anna Smith Burns of Seven Points, TX; sisters, LoLa Ann Burns of Seven Points, TX, Elaine Johnson and husband Kerry of Seven Points, TX and Susie Gray and husband Rex of Edgewood, TX; daughters, Tammy Farrell and husband Vernon of Achille and Leslie Burns of Dallas, TX; sons, Jimmy Burns Jr. and wife Jamie of Edmond, OK and Kevin Burns and wife Sabrina of Achille; 13 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and many friends. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 27, 2013 at the Compassion Outreach Center in Calera with Rev. Matt Stubblefield and Rev. Larry Metts officiating.
