Carl Wilde, 89, funeral will be held Saturday with burial in New Lutheran cemetery. He died 12:55 p.m. Wednesday in Norfolk. He was born May 2, 1858 at Zurkow, Germany. He came to America when 21 years old and then directly to Norfolk. He was married in 1881 to Bertha Krueger. They had 2 sons and 3 daughters. He was preceded in death by his wife and 1 daughter Martha Wells. He was married in 1903 to Caroline H. Keller of Norfolk. He was survived by his wife, 2 daughters, Mrs. Metta Blair at Seattle, Washington; Mrs. Warren Closson at Omaha; 2 sons: Max at Seattle, Washington; Otto at Jacksonville, Florida; 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters: Mrs.Ida Kollner, Mrs. Mary Ghm, Mrs. Bertha Huebner all at Norfolk.
