Bio
Omer Lee Isaacks, 60, of Temple, died Saturday, November 30, at his home. Services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, December 7, 2013, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with the Rev. Jay Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, December 6, 2013, at the funeral home. Omer Lee was born in Temple, Texas, to the late Omer Vance and Mary Cluck Isaacks. He lived in the Temple area for many years and served in the U.S. Army in the early 1970's. He was preceded in death by brothers, Ira Vance Isaacs, William David Isaacks, and James Terry Isaacks; and a sister, Edna Kay Karl. He is survived by brothers, Jerry DeWayne Isaacks, of Seabrook, and Larry Michael Isaacks, of Argyle; many nieces and nephews, and numerous friends. Temple Daily Telegram: 12/6/2013...C14
