Father: Bertrand Beck Mother: Verland Fowler Beck Spouse: Maurine Leavitt Beck Married: 4 November 1955 Place: Salt Lake LDS Temple Life's Work/Service/Interests: In 1955, Jerry married Maurine Leavitt, for time and all eternity, in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. Jerry always put his family first and worked hard to provide for them. He worked at IRECO Chemicals for 23 years and was also a general contractor helping build the Lehi community. Jerry was a master craftsman who could build and repair anything. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. Jerry was also member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and faithfully fulfilled his many callings and assignments. On Monday, December 2, 2013, Jerry, loving husband, father and grandfather, peacefully returned to his Heavenly Father while surrounded by his family. Family Message: "Our husband, father and grandfather will always be remembered for his loving kindness and generosity. He is loved and will be missed by all." Survived By: His wife, six children: Keri (Val) Carter, Kristy (Michael) Christensen, Blake (Karen) Beck, Jamie (Jim) Winn, Marci (JR) Smith and Wendi (James) Klein; 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
