Bio

Ace Howell was the son of John Coffee and Sarah Jane (Sallie) Pharr Howell; the husband of Elaine Doran Howell; and the father of Patricia and Elizabeth Howell. He entered the Army Air Corps in June 1942 and served as a physical and drill instructor. He attended Officer Training School and was discharged a Captain in April 1946. Ace Howell was the former owner of Howell-Doran Funeral Home in San Saba, Texas. CAPT U.S. ARMY AIR FORCES - WWII ..............................................................
