Bio

Maybelle Ainsworth, longtime Scurry County resident, died Sunday, May 2, in Snyder Oaks Care Center after a lengthy illness. Funeral service for Mrs. Ainsworth, 93, is set for 2 p.m. Friday in the Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home Chapel. Bruce Smith will officiate. Burial will follow in the Fluvanna Cemetery. Born Nov. 27, 1910 in Wood County, she was married to Lloyd Ainsworth who died May 11, 2003. A homemaker, Mrs. Ainsworth was a longtime Fluvanna area resident. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Ellen Keith, on Jan. 13, 1999; two brothers, Bill and J.C. Tucker; and a sister, Janelle Nanny. Survivors include two grandchildren, Kerrie Keith and Chad Keith, both of Austin; and a sister, Margarette Jacobs of Odessa.
