Donna P. McMillen, 76, of Nyssa, Oregon passed away Saturday, November 30, 2013 at her home. Donna was born April 2, 1936, in Olathe, Colorado, the daughter of Alvin and Gladys Marsh. She was raised in Delta, Colorado until 1951 when the family moved to Oregon. Donna married James McMillen in 1952, and raised two wonderful children. Donna was a homemaker and loving wife and mother. She spent her time pursuing her passion with sewing and knitting. Her grandchildren remember her making them sweaters to wear and cute doll outfits for their Barbie dolls. She was active in several craft making clubs in her community. She also had a love for small pets. She is survived by her husband, James, of Nyssa; brother, John Marsh, of Mesa, AZ; a son, William (Christy) McMillen, of Hermiston; daughter, Tami Torres and granddaughter, Zoe, of Taos, NM; granddaughters: Tammie (Joshua) Ybarra, of Redmond, Brandy (Zachary) Stoneman, of Weiser, ID, and Jennifer (Brian) Tracy, of Hermiston; and numerous great-grandchildren. Donna was preceded in death by her parents. Services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the Lienkaemper Chapel, in Nyssa.
