Dorothy Mae Hentschel Wasut, 81, of Columbus, passed away on November 20 in La Grange. She was born on August 28, 1932 to Louis and Celestine (Kurtzman) Hentschel in La Grange. On July 29, 1950 she married Dennies Joe Wasut. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Ellinger, TX and lived in the Columbus area since 1964. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Hentschel and Celestine (Kurtzman) Hentschel; husband, Dennies Joe Wasut; son, Dennies Wayne Wasut; two brothers, Robert Hentschel, Sr., and Louis "Junior" Hentschel; sister, Shirley Mikes, and brother-in-law, Paul Schlotterbeck. Burial took place in the La Grange City Cemetery.
