Louis Marvin Hentschel, Jr., age 77 of La Grange, passed away on Tuesday August 27, 2013. Louis was born on August 25, 1936 at Rabbs Prairie to Louis Hentschel and Celestine Kurtzmann Hentschel. He is survived by four sisters; Dorothy Wasut, Beatrice Wasut and husband Clarence, Helen Schlotterbeck and Patsy Hess and husband Jerry; a sister-in-law, Frances Hentschel; a brother-in-law, Alvin Mikes; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Hentschel; sister, Shirley Mikes and two brothers-in-law, Dennies Wasut and Paul Schlotterbeck. Visitation is scheduled at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange. The family will receive visitors. Funeral services are scheduled at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange. Interment will follow in the La Grange City Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gardenia Janssen Animal Shelter in La Grange or to the charity of one's choice.
