Funeral services for Mr. Danny R. Durant, 66, of Nacogdoches, Texas will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013, at 3:00 PM with Rev. W.E. Fuller and Rev. Ennis Fuller officiating. Burial will follow at Cold Springs Cemetery. Mr. Durant passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2013, in Nacogdoches. He was born on September 30, 1947, in Cleburne, Texas to the late Stutts Durant and Sadie Lisenbee Durant. Mr. Durant attended high school in Hemphill, Texas. He drove an 18 wheeler for a living for over 40 years. He loved to hunt, fish, camping, and listening to his hounds run the fox in the woods. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by many. Danny is survived by his loving wife of almost 49, years, Carlie Spears Durant; daughter, Sherry Cranford and husband, Jeff; son, Danny "Bubba" Durant, Jr.; daughter, Dorthy "Sissy" Colle and husband Ricky; grandchildren, Richard Evans, Sherry Gray and husband, Kenneth, Kattie Durant and husband, Joey, John Smith, Shanna Colle and fiancé, Trent Whitton, Ricki Briann Colle and boyfriend, Brady Bush, Dalton Colle and Austin Colle; great-grandchildren are Ethan Gray, Rhylee Evans, Katlyn Nowman, Texas Youngblood, Amanda Whitton; special family, Lisa and Gary Heflin and their 4 children, Catherine, Michael, Nathanial and Felisha and Nathan Will Youngblood.
