"The LaFayette Sun" - September 13, 1905: Chiggerville – Paragraphs of a Personal Nature and Otherwise. We have been reliably informed that Mr. W. C. (Doc) Hunter has secured a railroad position and will move with his family this week to Roanoke, where they will reside. Mr. Jim Spence will take charge of the depot at Buffalo, which position Mr. Hunter has held for a number of years and up to the time of his removal. The people of Buffalo community regret to lose this excellent family, and we wish Mr. Hunter unbounded success, which he so richly deserves.
