Bio

Marvin D. Tool, 58, RFD 2, Succumbed Sunday in Skiff Memorial hospital, Newton, of pneumonia. Mr. Tool, whose death occurred at 2 p.m. was admitted to the hospital on Monday, April 24. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children; three sons, Wayne and Clifton of Monroe, and Herwehe of Warrensburg, Mo.; and a daughter Beverly, at home; also one grandchild, and a brother Elmer of Canada. Mr. Tool had been employed in Newton in the plant department of the Iowa State Telephone Company and its predecessor company for the last 25 years. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday at Tool's Chapel near Monroe, with the Rev. Watson, former pastor of the church in charge. Interment will be in the Monroe Cemetery.
