Billy Joe Hall, age 75, of New Boston passed away Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, in a local hospital. Mr. Hall was born Aug. 4, 1938, in New Boston. He was retired from Bowie County Precinct 4 and was a Christian. Survivors include his wife, Ann Hall, of New Boston; three sons, Billy Ray Hall, of Durham, N.C., Leslie "Perky" Hall, of Tyler, Olen Hall, of New Boston; two daughters and one son-in-law, Sheron Stevers, of Durham, N.C., LaFonda and Mike Remington, of Durham, N.C.; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Robert and Genearl Hall, of Dalton, Ga., Wayne and Thelma Hall, of Dalton, Ga., Ed and Mary Hall, of Dalton, Ga., Jimmy Hall, of Dalton, Ga.; two sisters, Verbenia Eubanks, of Chattsworth, Ga., Helen Hall, of Dalton, Ga.; one brother-in-law, George Hall, of Lindale; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, at Bates-Rolf Chapel, New Boston, with Bro. Darren Faulknor officiating. Interment will be 3 p.m. in Carmel Cemetery, Lindale, under direction of Bates-Rolf, New Boston. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013, at the funeral home.
