Charles was the son of Lars and Albertina Gunderson. The family farmed in Cedar co, NE and after they had relocated to Boyd county, Charles stayed in Cedar county and farmed with his brother Chris. Later, Charles and his brother Harry farmed the family place in Morton, Boyd co, NE.
