Mildred M. Cannon, born August 29, 1895, passed away July 12, 1995 in Austin, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luke H. Cannon. She lived most of her life in Sulphur Springs and Dallas, Texas, spending the last four years in Austin, Texas. Survived by daughter and sons-in-law, Lena and Jacob E. Anderson, Dallas, Texas; Beulah Smith, Austin, Texas; Joyce and Jerry Magnuson, Seattle, Washington; grandsons, Avery W Smith II. Houston, Texas; Jacob E. Anderson Jr., Dallas; Walter L. Anderson, Carrollton; and, Gerald Magnuson Jr., Seattle Washington; granddaughter, Jo Ellen Edwards, Lynnwood, Washington; nine great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; six nieces and two nephews. Services will be Saturday July 15, 1995, 10 a.m., Lamar Funeral Home Chapel. Interment Laurel Land Cemetery, Brother David Kykendall officiating. The family request donations be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 1822 W. 10th St., Dallas, Texas 75208 in lieu of flowers.
