Bio

Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona January 1, 1976 Graveside services were held in Wickenburg Wednesday following Church services in Prescott, for Lola Copeland, 97, who died December 28, in the Pioneer Home in Prescott. Mrs. Copeland was the widow of Doctor J.A. Copeland, who practiced in Wickenburg in the 1920's and built the communities first hospital where the County building is located today. Doctor Copeland sold the hospital in the 1930's He and his wife lived here until the Doctor's death in 1941. Mrs. Copeland moved to Prescott. She is survived by a son, B.W. Copeland of Prescott, two daughters, Francis Herring of Minn., and Joyce Jackson of Prescott, ten grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
