The Spokesman-Review (WA) 10 Nov 1994, Thu Funeral Mass for Cecilia Massett is planned for 10 am today at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will be at Enterprise Cemetery in Ferndale, Wash. Hazen and Jaeger Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Massett, 79, died Sunday. She was born in Emmons county in North Dakota. She worked as a licensed practical nurse for 30 years. She and her husband moved to Spokane in 1946 from North Dakota. She was a member of the Orchid Society and St. Mary's Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, John Massett; three sons, Joseph Massett of Ferndale, Wash; Robert Massett of Santa Barbara, Calif; Donald Massett of Bellingham; one sister, Ann Massett of Linton, ND; four brothers, Joseph Schmaltz of Modesto, Calif; Anthony Schmaltz Belle Fourche, SD; Michael Schmaltz of Bremerton, and Ingatz Schmaltz of Rapid City, SD; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
